The Map of Medicine is for Everyone

Do you know that everyone has access to The Map of Medicine?

Patients see the same guides that their doctor can use for help with their treatment.

The Map is available through NHS Choices supporting individuals making choices about their own health.

Launched in 2000, the tool has been created as a framework for sharing knowledge across care settings, providing evidence-based care pathways to clinicians at the point of care.

The Map is being deployed across the NHS as part of the Connecting for Health (CfH) programme.

Wendy Dearing and a programme board are leading a local Sussex programme to encourage adoption.

Adoption will be achieved through user awareness, along with  the identification and localisation of appropriate pathways.
